Dailymotion and Vimeo were among the first to officially support high definition video. Web wars continue to unfold as YouTube is testing its HD support and is planning to launch it in a matter of months. Overall, 50% of the short web clips are now being offered in high definition. Long form HD content like sporting events or TV shows is there at 35%. ABC and USAnetwork among others have launched HD episodes of their TV series.
